Integrated Stage and House Lighting Control System

A comprehensive lighting control system was established for two performance venues — the Main Hall and the Black Box. This system enables integrated control of stage lighting, house lighting, and work lighting across all venues, allowing centralized operation and preventing potential lighting failures during performances. In addition, a blue-light system was introduced to ensure the safe movement of staff members during blackout situations such as performances and rehearsals.

Stage Lighting and Power Distribution

Stage lighting is operated through a PLB-based power and signal distribution system.

• Main Hall: 81 distribution points, providing 926 power circuits and 392 signal circuits.

• Black Box: 40 distribution points, providing 480 power circuits and 123 signal circuits.

This configuration allows for flexible and suitable lighting effects in any area. For enhanced safety during setup, all connectors were standardized to CEE-type specifications.

Control System

The control infrastructure employs a dual control system that combines Ethernet control via a fiber-optic loop with DMX signal control. To ensure maximum signal stability, Cat6A S/FTP Ethernet cables were applied.

The main power distribution unit utilizes ETC’s European Sensor3 Dimmer Unit Rack, implementing redundant control modules for reliability. All modules are configured as Dimmer/Switch types, providing appropriate power supply options tailored to the type of lighting fixture at each location.

The main console selected was ETC’s EOS series, from the same manufacturer as the power distribution unit. Network distribution was reinforced with ETC’s Gateways and DMX/RDM Splitters, further ensuring signal reliability.
